Your child's school has invested heavily in computer systems, and suggests that where available, pupils do their homework on their PC at home. You would like to know either what PC, peripherals and software to buy; or how to ensure that your existing kit is suitable.

Of the five offspring in our household, one has obtained his university degree; two more are due to graduate this summer; one is taking a course to become a legal secretary; and the fifth is still studying for her "A" levels before proceeding to university.
