On-Site Diagnosis and Assessment: No Charge There's no charge for carrying-out a diagnosis and assessment of your problems or needs. Sometimes this can be carried out successfully by phone but more often it is necessary to visit you in your home to look at things in person, on-site. Once the situation has been assessed it will either be a case of an on-site repair (see left), or a fixed price for a major job that will require your computer to be brought to our office. Most such major jobs will require you to be without your computer for around a week depending upon our workload at the time. However if it is necessary to order replacement or upgrade components, this period may stretch to 10 - 14 days. Where necessary we can often lend you a computer for the duration, but this may not be possible if all our loan computers have already been booked out. Please understand that you are under no obligation to accept our proposal, whether for an on-site repair or for a fixed-price workbench job. And if you do decline, then as stated above, there will be no charge at all for the time spent diagnosing the problem.
