Updating Your Card Details at 1 & 1

Your credit card details are stored by 1 & 1 in order for them automatically to collect their annual fees for providing your mailbox service; and also to pay the relevant domain registration fees on your behalf as they fall due.

When you need to change or update your credit card details (e.g. a new or re-dated card), log on to https://admin.1and1.co.uk by typing this address (without the www prefix) into the browser address bar (or click on the above link itself which will open the site in a new browser window), and press enter or click on Go.

You will be presented with the following login screen: enter your account number (or domain name, e.g. pc-firstaid.com or robin-beck.co.uk, i.e. web site address but without the preceding www) and your password, and click on Login

Note: If you don't have your account number and/or password or telephone me on 01604-870394.

At the next screen please select Account (it defaults to Administration):

Then click on Payment Details:

In the next screen, you will need to enter or change your credit card details. The Card Verification Code consists of the right-hand three digit number shown on the reverse of your card in the signature panel; however for American Express, this is a four-digit number shown on the front.

Since 1 & 1 are a German company (the largest such company in Europe), the address format is still in "Continental" fashion and so the pattern does not match ours precisely; note how I have represented my address below.

Don't forget to click on Save when done:
